- Project Type: ‘Remaster’ – Taking the building blocks from the original builder and bringing it up to a modern standard.
- Project Duration: 5 weeks
Claire, first launched in 1996, had been out of the water for three years when we got hold of her and she looked, smelled and felt like a 25-year-old boat. Claire’s new owners weren’t confident in the boats mechanical state and also felt like her interior state was unliveable for them.
Hear what Claire’s owner, Bryan Williamson has to say about this newly Remastered Princess 440 and his experience working with Setag.
Enjoy below Before & After photos which demonstrate the tired and used state Claire was once in.
The Williamson’s contacted us for an interior refresh to their requirements and personal taste and for an engineering update to ensure she was safe for sea.
The interior refit was complete within 3 weeks, however during the strip out process our thorough team of Craftsmen uncovered major engineering issues that needed to be addressed before she was seaworthy. Claire was launched and handed back to Bryan 5 weeks after we started work – she is now not only modern, looking and smelling like a new boat but is as beautiful internally as she is externally. Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, Claire is mechanically and engineeringly sound so the Williamson’s can enjoy their yacht for many years to come.

Case Studies
We believe that true luxury evolves through a lifetime of dedication. But it is often hard to quantify what raises something to the level of a luxury product. It is more than a name or a logo: rather it is an attitude, a constant striving for perfection.
